Abd Al-Rahman Traboulsi

I'm Abd Al-Rahman Traboulsi! I graduated summa cum laude (3.97) with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering with Honors at Ohio State University while I attended on a full-ride scholarship. I was accepted into both Harvard and Stanford medical school, and will be attending Stanford University next fall. I have worked as an ACT/SAT tutor for Kaplan Test Prep, a TA (Teaching Assistant) in Organic Chemistry, and have personally tutored students in various AP courses and MCAT prep. I enjoy helping students develop test-taking strategies and breakdown the content into a manner that they can understand and internalize. I use a student-centered pedagogy where the learner plays an active role and develops increased ownership and confidence in their studies. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing basketball, working out at the gym (especially calisthenics), and reading in my free time. I am very passionate about humanitarian issues, and have spent my summers in refugee camps and field hospitals assisting those who have less.
